Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tomahock ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you play AI Studio Tycoon (the "Game") on iOS or Android, or visit aistudiotycoon.com. The Game is published by Tomahock, based in Portugal.

By installing or playing AI Studio Tycoon you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Game and do not use the website.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

• In-app purchases. When you buy cosmetic packs or in-game credits, Apple App Store or Google Play processes the payment. We receive a confirmation that the purchase succeeded and the product ID. We never see your card details or full billing address.
• Game Center / Play Games sign-in (optional). If you sign in to share leaderboard scores, your platform handle and a stable anonymous player ID are used by us only to submit your score. We do not store your real name or email.
• Support requests. If you email us at hello@aistudiotycoon.com, we receive whatever you send (your email address, message, attachments).

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Game progress. Stored locally on your device. If cloud save is enabled and you are signed in to Game Center / Play Games, your save is mirrored to Apple's iCloud or Google's Play Games Saved Games — we do not have a separate server copy.
• Crash logs and analytics. Unity Analytics and Firebase Analytics collect anonymous device information (device model, OS version, country, app version, session duration, in-game events such as "training run started"). These reports do not contain your name, email, or precise location.
• Advertising identifiers. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob receives your device's advertising identifier (AAID on Android, IDFA on iOS — only if you consent to App Tracking on iOS), coarse location (country/region), and ad interaction events. AdMob uses this to serve and measure ads.

2. How we use information

• To run the Game, save your progress, and let you compete on leaderboards.
• To detect and fix crashes, errors, and balance issues.
• To serve rewarded video ads when you tap an "Watch ad" button (this is always optional; ads are never shown without your action).
• To complete purchases of cosmetic packs and credits.
• To respond to support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations (tax records, App Store / Play Store agreements).

3. Sharing of information

We share the limited information described above with the following processors:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers other than via AdMob's standard rewarded ad serving as described above.

4. Children's privacy

AI Studio Tycoon is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. On iOS, when "Sign in with Apple" age requirements apply (under-13 accounts cannot make purchases without parental consent). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

5. Your rights

5.1 General rights

• Reset or delete your local save at any time via the in-game "Clear save" option.
• Withdraw consent for rewarded ads by simply not tapping any "Watch ad" buttons.
• Opt out of personalised ads in your device settings:
  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → reset / opt out of ad personalisation

5.2 European Economic Area (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights:

• Right to access, correct, or delete your data
• Right to restrict or object to processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Portugal: CNPD)

The lawful basis for our processing is your consent (rewarded ads), contract (purchases, leaderboards), and legitimate interest (anonymous analytics for fixing bugs). On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency prompt controls whether AdMob can use your IDFA. On Android, our Google UMP consent dialog handles GDPR consent.

5.3 California (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, to delete personal information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising; our only ad serving is rewarded ads via AdMob, with measurement strictly tied to whether the reward was earned. 6. Data retention

• Local save: until you delete it or uninstall the Game.
• Cloud save: governed by Apple / Google retention policies.
• Analytics: anonymous events retained per Unity / Firebase defaults (typically 14 months).
• Purchase records: retained for tax and accounting purposes for the period required by Portuguese law (10 years).
• Support emails: retained for as long as needed to resolve your request, then archived for up to 12 months.

7. International data transfers

Some processors (Google, Apple, Unity, Firebase) operate globally and may transfer data outside the EEA. Where this happens, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards as published by each processor.

8. Security

We rely on the security controls of our processors (Apple App Store, Google Play, AdMob, Unity, Firebase) for data they hold. Local saves are stored unencrypted in the standard sandboxed app folder of your device — they cannot be accessed by other apps under normal conditions.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add features (for example, new analytics processors or new monetisation). The latest version will always be at aistudiotycoon.com/privacy.html with an updated "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes we will surface a notice in the Game itself.
